Bulgarian School of Politics: Institutional Development Project, 2007
Project Summary
This project focuses on further developing and improving the institutional and intellectual
capacity of the Bulgarian School of Politics for providing high-quality training to political and civic leaders in the country and the region, in order to establish the School as a leading educational and resource center in political leadership training. Through the proposed project activities, the School of Politics seeks to enhance its ability to disseminate new civil and political leadership culture based on understanding and implementation of the core principles of good governance such as the rule of law, legitimacy, transparency, accountability, accessibility and respect for human rights. This will be accomplished by expanding our cooperative efforts working with NGOs and public institutions at home and abroad, as well as by strengthening the network of BSoP alumni and actively engaging them in project activities and programs initiated by the School.
