An agreement for strategic cooperation between the Bulgarian School of Politics “Dimitry Panitza” and the Civic School of Political Studies (CSPS) in Morocco was signed by the Executive Director of BSoP Irina Alexieva and the Director of CSPS Youssef Laaraj. With it, the Schools unite their efforts for developing new joint programs and initiatives, which will support further dissemination of basic human rights, development of active civil society and multiparty democracy.
The agreement will allow the Bulgarian School of Politics to share its experience in organizing and conducting successful trainings for young political, civic and business leaders, said the Executive Director of BSoP Irina Alexieva. According to Youssef Laaraj, the cooperation would stimulate the exchange of expertise and knowledge as between both Schools, as well as among the participants in the National Programs and Schools’ Alumni.
With joint future activities in Morocco, the Bulgarian School of Politics will continue its tradition to help its colleagues from North Africa. Currently, BSoP works successfully in Tunisia, where it provides methodological support to the Tunisian School of Politics.
