Class 2022 of the National Program “Governing Skills”of the Bulgarian School of Politics (BSoP) officially received their diplomas. They were issued by the Council of Europe (CoE), which supports the BSoP’s long-standing training program for political and civic leaders.
“Thanks for the knowledge, thanks for the people I met thanks to my participation in the National Program”, were the most frequent words from graduates to the BSoP team. Representatives of the national and local authorities, people from professional and civic organizations, from business, and civic leaders found a place in the twentieth graduating class of the School after preliminary selection through a test and interview. They started their training in March 2022 and graduated in September of the same year. Some of the trainees also travelled to Strasbourg, where they took part in the World Forum for Democracy, which traditionally includes representatives of the different schools part of the Network of Schools of Political Studies under the auspices of the Council of Europe.
The graduation ceremony of Class 2022 was held in a stylish Arbanasi hotel complex. After the official part, there was a sequel with lots of dancing, memories of training and stories about future plans.
The twentieth class of BSoP will hold a charity ball to raise funds in support of a cause following the tradition of the graduates of the School. It will be on April 6, 2023 in the ballroom of the Millennium Hotel in Sofia. The collected funds will be provided to the Bulgarian Federation of Adapted Physical Activity, which has dedicated its activities to the social integration and development of children and youth with mental and physical disabilities to achieve high sporting achievements.
