Bulgarian School of Politics conducted training for women from Razgrad region under the project “Active Women – Prosperous Democracy”

Twenty women from the Razgrad region participated in the training under the “Active Women – Prosperous Democracy” project, which took place on August 24 and 25 in the region. The project aims to increase the knowledge and skills of women from the districts of Kardzhali, Razgrad and Blagoevgrad, so that they can more actively participate in the decision-making process.

During the two-day training, the participants went through lectures, question and answer sessions and small group activities. Among the topics discussed were Bulgaria’s potential membership in the Eurozone, political parties and processes within them, opportunities for civic participation in the country and the media and their role in the democratic process.

A special guest in the “Face to face with the local authority” session was the mayor of Razgrad municipality, Dobrin Dobrev.
