The Third Course of the National Program Began

The third course of the National Programme „Governing skills”, which topic is „National Priorities and National Solutions”, started today in “RIU” hotel in Pravets. The participants presented their ideas for increasing investments in innovations. The group assignments were evalueted by a special jury, which included experts from the government, NGOs and representatives from political parties. The special guests were Mr. Evgeni Angelov, economic adviser to the President, Mr. Evgeni Evgeniev, an expert from the World Bank and Mr. Todor Galev from “Innovation BG”, who introduced the innovation topic in the previous course of the Program.
During the seminar, the participants will discuss if parties were necessary, whether their role and significance would transform, if parties would be replaced by civic associations, as well as whether parties could meet citizens’ expectations.

During the training the students will learn what the basic rules of the state protocol are, how to read results from polls and how to develop a national budget. They will discuss the judicial reform and the steps to effective justice, and will also participate in a simulation of “Panorama” TV broadcast. 

In the panel “Long-term strategies of Bulgaria” the students will discuss the topic „Green and Energy Efficient Economy”. BSoP`s Alumni will also introduce their work with social institutions for children in Velingrad, Vidrare and Stara Zagora, as well as with the workshop for children “Embrace me.”
