U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria Ms. Marcie Ries was a special guest speaker at the panel “30 minutes with” in the National Program “Governing skills.” The topic of her discussion with the program participants was “Changing Demographics and their Effect on Elections and Public Policy.” H.E. Marcie Ries defined the main trends in the changing demographic environment in the United States and Europe and talked about possible measures for the integration of minorities. She emphasized the critical importance of education in order to maximize the potential of each group. The ambassador answered several questions about relations between the United States and Bulgaria. She highlighted that she would work for bringing more American investment to our country.
