Representatives of the last class of the Bulgarian School of Politics (BSoP) took part in the tenth edition of the World Forum for Democracy, which was held from November 7 to 9 in Strasbourg. The theme of the forum was “Democracy: A New Hope?”. As part of the program, the delegation of the Bulgarian School of Politics met with the permanent representative of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Maria Spasova, and with the Bulgarian judge at the European Court of Human Rights, Yonko Grozev. In the presence of Ambassador Spasova and diplomats from the representation, the BSoP trainees followed the tradition and presented flowers in front of the bust of Dimitar Peshev in the headquarters of the Council of Europe. In the context of the upcoming 80th anniversary of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews in 2023, Ambassador Spasova emphasized this unprecedented national feat and the importance of promoting it as widely as possible.
