For a second year in a row, the trainees in the National Program “Governing Skills” of the Bulgarian School of politics (BSoP) have the opportunity to visit Brussels, where they meet and talk with representatives of various European institutions. The educational visits are possible thanks to the support of the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria.
The first group of Class 2024 was in the European capital from April 14 to 16. At the European Commission’s Visitors Centre, the participants in the National Program met with representatives of
the General Directorates “Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union”, “Economic and Financial Affairs”, “Justice and Consumers”, “Regional and
Urban Policy”. The program for the twenty trainees of BSoP also included a meeting with
members of the team of the Bulgarian European Commissioner Iliana Ivanova. Highlight of the second day of the visit to Brussels was the visit to the NATO Headquarters. There, a rich program was also prepared. Part of it was a meeting with the deputy-permanent representative of Bulgaria to NATO Zlatin Krastev.
