Twenty trainees out of a total of forty in Class 2024 of the National Program of the Bulgarian School of Politics visited Brussels. This was the second part of the group that was on an educational visit to the Belgian capital.
The program started on 15 July in the Charlemagne building, where the European Commission’s visitor center is located. Over the course of one working day, the current BSoP trainees had the opportunity to listen to six lecturers, representatives of the Directorates “Defense Industry and Space”, “Regional and Urban Policy”, “Research and Innovation”, of the General Secretariat of the European Commission and the European External Action Service, to ask questions and discuss various topics with them. The second day of the visit to Brussels, July 16, was devoted to a visit to the Council of the European Union (EU). A kind host of the group was Mrs. Simona Georgieva from the Secretariat of the Council of the EU, who introduced the trainees of BSoP to the work of the Council.
Class 2024 of the National Program of the Bulgarian School of Politics is the second class, which has the opportunity in two groups to make an educational visit to Brussels according to a specially designed program. This is possible thanks to the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria.
