The process of formulating policies and strategic documents is a coherent and logical process that goes through six steps: defining the problem; defining the goal and sub-goals; determining the different possibilities; choice of alternatives; performance; monitoring and evaluation. It is important to involve all stakeholders in this process because this increases efficiency, transparency and openness.
This is how Radostina Angelova, director of Global Metrics, began her lecture in front of Class 2022 of the National Program of the Bulgarian School of Politics (BSoP).
Stakeholder analysis was the topic of the last, fourth training day of the third course, which took place from June 26 to 29 at the Lyon Hotel, Borovets. After the theoretical part, the trainees practiced what they had learned. Divided into groups and under the leadership of Radostina Angelova, they had to determine the stakeholders in four case studies, among which was a proposal to repeal the Law on Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors and Juveniles, a proposal to close the District Court, a proposal to merge universities in Bulgaria. Each group received feedback on its work from Radostina Angelova.
The third course of the National Program ended with a test of the knowledge of the trainees and feedback from them.
