The project “Joint decisions for better governance of Dobrich municipality” aims at more effective application of the principles of democratic governance and public control over public policies through more active citizen participation in the municipality of Dobrich. As part of the project, the possibilities for the participation of the various stakeholders in the development of policies and decision-making in the municipality and what are the spheres and ways of participation that interest them will be investigated and analyzed. Based on the results of the analysis, the “Consul” software will be introduced on a pilot basis. Thus, Dobrich will become the first Bulgarian municipality to use it. The project is financed by the Operational Program “Good Governance” (OPGG), co-financed by the European Social Fund of the European Union.
