Class 2024 successfully passed the first of a total of four study modules at the National Program “Governing Skills” of the Bulgarian School of Politics. The emphasis in the first module was on lectures and solving practical cases related to leadership, communication, giving speeches, conflict management, written communication skills. Among the lecturers were the vice president of Bulgaria, leading experts, university professors, journalists.
Four moderators guided the work on solving the tasks by the trainees in the four small groups.
Class 2024 is the twenty-second cohort of the National Program of the Bulgarian School of Politics. After a precise selection through a knowledge test and an interview, a total of 40 people found a place in it. They are representatives of parliamentary represented political parties – “GERB – SDS”, “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria”, DPS, BSP, ITN – as well as civic leaders. Among the trainees are six MPs in the 49th National Assembly, two mayors, one deputy mayor, two chairmen of municipal councils, deputy chairman of a municipal council, municipal councilors, members of management bodies of political parties, etc. The trainees from the so-called civil quota are people from non-governmental and professional organizations, foundations, associations, business representatives, etc.
