BSoP graduates from different years participated in diversity and inclusion training

Graduates of the National Program “Governing Skills” of the Bulgarian School of Politics (BSoP) from different years of its more than twenty years of implementation participated in the training program “Together in a colorful world” (Embracing Diversity). The training took place from November 29 to December 1 in Borovets and was dedicated to the topics of diversity and inclusion. The twenty trainees, representatives of parties, NGOs, professional organizations, the judicial system, the state administration, etc. were helped to explore their own knowledge, attitudes and the influence they have on various dimensions of their lives and their choice of position on socially relevant topics. The training was experiential, based on the life experiences of the participants and discussions on building fair opportunities in different communities and societies. It enabled a small part of the BSoP graduate community to increase their knowledge of the mechanisms that create and maintain social inequality; to increase their motivation to achieve positive change in the workplace and in the organizational culture of the institutions and services in which they work. The two-day training in Borovets is part of the “Together in a Colorful World” project for BSoP graduates, which the School implements with the support of the “Trust for a Social Alternative” (TSA) foundation. At the end of the training, all participants received certificates signed by Sarah Perrin, executive director of TSA.
