Representatives of the local governments from different classes of BSoP took part in a seminar “Renovation of the building stock in the context of the NRRP”, which was organized jointly with Foundation “Center for Energy Efficiency EnEffect” between December 6 and 8 in Arbanasi. The training focused on key aspects of energy efficiency in the building sector and the importance of renovating the building stock to achieve sustainable development.
The participants had the opportunity to learn about the main challenges and opportunities related to the implementation of energy efficiency policies. Among the topics were methods for assessing the condition of buildings, approaches for financing renovation and good practices that can be applied in different municipalities.
An important emphasis was placed on the role of local authorities in making the transition to a more sustainable and energy efficient environment. The shared examples and solutions highlighted the importance of cooperation between different stakeholders – from local administration to experts and citizens.
With these initiatives, we aim to support the sustainable development of Bulgarian municipalities and encourage the integration of good practices in the field of energy efficiency.
